“Rendezvous”

...  is a meeting of people dressed up and and living -for 10 days or so- a pre 1840’s western frontier life as trappers, fur traders, mountain men, scouts or American Indians of various prairie tribes.  It takes place every year at a beautiful and scenic spot high up somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, and aims returning  to a time when the red and white man respected each other.  Assignment for Stern Magazine, Germany (published)
